Which floor is suitable for underfloor heating?
Parquet (up to 15 mm), laminate, SPC/WPC vinyl and ceramic tile. Best thermal conductivity: vinyl and tile. Solid parquet is not suitable.
How much laminate to buy for a room?
Buy 5–10% more than the area; for diagonal layout or complex rooms 10–15%. Keep the rest as spare.
Is vinyl suitable for bathroom?
Yes, SPC and WPC vinyl are water-resistant and suitable for bathrooms. Ensure joints and edges are properly sealed.
How long does laminate last?
Class 31: 5–10 years, class 32: 10–15 years, class 33: 15–25 years. Proper care extends lifespan.
Can parquet be sanded?
Engineered parquet can be sanded 2–3 times, solid parquet 5–10 times. Laminate and vinyl cannot be sanded.
